FAW TRUCKS QINGDAO AUTOMOBILE CO.,LTDCHINA FAW GROUP CO., LTD. (short for FAW), formerly China First Automobile Works, can trace its roots back to July 15, 1953, when its first assembly plant started to be constructed. FAW is one of China’s oldest and largest automotive manufacturers, with registered capital of RMB 35.4 billion yuan and total assets of RMB 457.83 billion yuan.
In 2020, FAW delivered 3.706 million vehicles to customers. Group sales revenue in 2020 totaled RMB 697 billion yuan. In addition, the group took the 66th place on the 2021 Fortune Global 500 list.
Faw Jiefang Automobile Co., LTD is a wholly-owned subsidiary of FAW Jiefang Group Co., LTD under FAW Corporation of China. It is a manufacturer of medium, heavy and light trucks and buses with an annual production capacity of 400,000 vehicles. In 2021, FAW Jiefang sold a total of nearly 440,000 vehicles. Among them, the sales of medium and heavy truck 373,400 units, 23.7% of the market, firmly sit the first in the industry. China heavy truck sales global "five in a row", heavy truck sales global "six in a row", tractor sales for 16 consecutive years absolute leading industry.
