CHINA FAW GROUP CO., LTD. (short for FAW), formerly China First Automobile Works, can trace its roots back to July 15, 1953, when its first assembly plant started to be constructed. It is a manufacturer of medium, heavy and light trucks and buses with an annual production capacity of 400,000 vehicles. In 2021, FAW Jiefang sold a total of nearly 440,000 vehicles. Among them, the sales of medium and heavy truck 373,400 units, 23.7% of the market, firmly sit the first in the industry.
