On April 29, local time, a FAW Jiefang JH6 automatic transmission tractor truck rolled out of the assembly line, marking the 9,000th truck produced by FAW in South Africa officially rolled off the assembly line, becoming another milestone in FAW's overseas business and the development of the South African company. Mr. Danny Jordaan, President of South African Football Association, Mr.Pepi Sinlinga, General Manager of South African Port Authority TRANSNET, Mr.Mkhuseli Khusta, Director of Nelson Mandela Bay Economic, Agricultural and Tourism Development Board, Mr. Li Yongjun, General Manager of FAW South Africa, Mr. Leiter Richard, director, and nearly 200 employees of FAW South Africa PE factory witnessed the event.
At the off-line ceremony, the guests delivered warm speeches, reviewing the development history of FAW in South Africa and highly praising FAW South Africa as one of the top 50 enterprises in Nelson Mandela Bay Area and a model enterprise in Kuha Development Zone, which has played an important role in promoting local economic development, employment and economic prosperity. We all believe that the development of FAW South Africa is a good example of economic, technological and social cooperation between the two countries under the China-South Africa comprehensive strategic partnership.
